Make your own traditional Japanese kite with master craftsman Mikio Toki at a free 2-hour workshop. Using bamboo strips and washi paper, you’ll create an Edo kite that is ready for flying. This once-off session will run on Saturday, July 14 from 2pm to 4pm in the Himawara Room on Level 5 of ICC Sydney. There is limited capacity and entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Materials will be provided. Younger participants will require guardian assistance as some tasks will be tricky. This workshop is presented by The Japan Foundation, Sydney.
