Tanjirou is a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal to support his family. One day he returns to discover his family slaughtered by a demon and the sole survivor – his sister Nezuko has been turned into a demon. With a new resolve to avenge his family and to turn Nezuko back into a human, he becomes a demon slayer and seeks out to kill the demon that massacred his family.
