The Somnus Quintet was formed by five friends who share a love for music and Japanese culture. We specialise in Japanese film & anime scores, video game soundtracks and pop music, meeting up weekly to practise and arranging our own music. We’re always excited to try out old and new songs – at SMASH we’ll be playing Studio Ghibli songs like “One Summer’s Day” and “Ponyo”, and songs from the Final Fantasy series like “Eyes on Me” and our titular “Somnus”.
